Privy.io, a Stripe Company (2025 - Present)

Privy, a Stripe company, provides digital asset infrastructure for global financial products: authentication, embedded and server wallets, a programmable policy engine, and stablecoin money movement for consumer apps, fintechs, trading platforms, and AI agents. The platform secures over 160 million accounts across 180+ countries and processes more than $15B in monthly transaction volume for customers such as Hyperliquid, Klarna, Ramp, and Deel.

As Security Lead, the overall security of the Privy platform is my remit. That covers a broad range of applied cryptography, including Shamir-sharded key management and signing inside hardware-attested AWS Nitro Enclaves; practical supply chain security across the SDKs, backend services, and open-source cryptographic implementations our customers depend on; and supporting our customers in safely integrating wallet rails into their applications, from policy and quorum design through incident response. The program is backed by SOC 2 Type II, recurring third-party audits, and a public HackerOne bug bounty.

Anchorage Digital (2020 - 2025)

Anchorage Digital, the world's first federally chartered crypto bank, is a leading global and regulated digital asset platform. It offers institutions comprehensive financial services and infrastructure solutions, distinguished by secure custody, stringent regulatory compliance, extensive product offerings, and superior client service.

As the inaugural Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Anchorage Digital Bank, I established and executed the inaugural Information Security program in alignment with FFIEC IT guidelines, encompassing detailed regulatory compliance and board-level reporting with key metrics.

In the role of Security Lead, I managed a highly skilled security engineering team responsible for incident response, application and cloud security, on-premises infrastructure, and enterprise IT. Our company-strategic mission was to protect against world-class attackers without inducing super-linear scale of costs and effort, using key strategies like hardware security, infrastructure-as-code, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and zero-trust architecture.

Arxan Technologies (2007 - 2020)

Arxan Technologies, a premier provider of binary-level application security solutions, was trusted by Global 500 companies and defense agencies to safeguard their software against hackers, insider threats, and malware. I played a key role in representing Arxan's security and technology interests during its acquisition by TPG Capital in April 2020.

As a principal architect of the patented application augmentation and obfuscation technology, I spearheaded the advancement into cutting-edge security and strategic research. I consistently represented Arxan's technological expertise in industry thought leadership circles and during critical sales engagements.
